Fall Family Portrait Dates...

Do you know what happens in a mere 3.5 months? It's my favorite time of the year (with carolling and trees and family gatherings and nativity scenes). Ah, yes...it's Christmas time. And you know what? You only have 12 weeks to design, order, and mail your Christmas cards, which means that you need to take the perfect family photos between now and then. That's where I come in...family photographer extraordinaire, at your service.

Below are my available dates for family photo sessions this fall. The cost is $150 for a 45 minute to one hour photo session at a location of your choice (I have lots of ideas, but would love to hear yours as well)! You will receive approximately 30 edited images from your session and the copyright release to print/enlarge the photos 'til your heart's content. Yes...that means you can use them on Christmas cards.

If these dates do not work, please let me know and we'll try to schedule a different date. All evening sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m., but we might need to move those earlier as the we get later into the year (and the sun sets a little earlier).

Family Photo Season is Upon Us...

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's that time. The grass is green. The fields are growing. The sun is shining. The cobblestone paths are rustic and charming. All of these signs point to one of the most exciting times of the year...family photo season! Okay, so I realize that most people don't start thinking about family photos until a few weeks before they have to send Christmas cards. But here's the deal, folks...you are not like most people. You recognize the value of planning ahead, avoiding the rush, wearing sundresses (and those cute sandals you just bought) in your family photos. Let's start a trend this Christmas and shower our friends and family with refreshing photos of our tan-skinned selves, smiling in the green grasses of summertime. Are we all on the same page, here?

I've opened 8 photoshoot dates for this summer (below). If you're interested in scheduling a photoshoot and one of these dates works for you, let me know and we will get you on the schedule! The cost for a photoshoot before September 1 is $135. This includes a one hour photoshoot at a location of your choice (I have lots of ideas, so let's talk about what you have in mind for your photosession and then we'll decide on the location). It also includes a CD with approximately 20-30 fully edited images in both color and black and white. You will have the rights to reprint/enlarge these photos as you wish (I have some suggestions on where to send them and where to avoid). You'll be able to design your Christmas card, print photo gifts for your family, and get gorgeous, large prints to hang in your house, all before school starts. Sound good? If you're not so fond of sandals and sundresses but instead prefer boots and scarves, we can schedule a photoshoot this fall. Later this summer I will start scheduling for September - November, but if you have a date in mind now, please let me know. Because of the demand in the fall (last year just got a little crazy for me!), after September 1 the cost will be $150 ($15 higher than the summer price).
